Please review the timeline below for a sample of your first few months at CrossFit Vertex.

Day 1: You Take The First Step

Today is a new day…  Today is the day you cast off all the self-doubt, all the worry, and all the nervousness.  You go for it.  You schedule a No Sweat Intro with one of the CrossFit Vertex trainers.

DAY1

Day 2: No Sweat Intro

During the No Sweat Intro, you meet with your coach and discuss your health and fitness goals.  You also tour the facility and learn a little about the CrossFit Methodology.  This conversation is easy-going and it’s free.

If you’re ready to get started, we’ll schedule out the first session of our On-ramp Program:  a one-on-one Foundations Workout with your coach.

DAY2

Day 3: Foundations Workout 1

You completed the first Foundations Workout.  Congrats!  To recap, your coach instructed you on each movement and you drilled them together.  You worked out at your pace – remember, safety then intensity.  Well done.

Day 10: Foundations Complete

Your Foundations Sessions are complete.  Kudos to you for sticking with it!  For the first month, work directly with your coach.  Tell them what classes you plan to attend.  With each class, the instruction and education continues.  Keep working!

Day 12: First CrossFit Class Complete

Well done!  You completed your first CrossFit Group class!  You met some of our members and worked out beside them.  Your coach tailored the workout movements to your ability level, and you applied the concepts you learned during the Foundations classes.  Great class!

This is my first time in your gym, what can I expect?

It’s so simple and no pressure at all! We’ll meet at the gym for a No Sweat Intro. While there, we’ll discuss your health and fitness goals, you’ll get a quick tour of the facility, and we’ll cover few details on the CrossFit Methodology. If you decide you’re interested, you can schedule your first “Foundations Workout”. If you’d like to learn more about our Member Journey, check out our Get Started page.

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?

It’s very simple – you get what you pay for. If you’re truly prioritizing your health, then the cost of a night out shouldn’t be something that deters you.  The benefits certainly outweigh the costs:  getting healthier, a trained coaching staff who genuinely wants to see you reach your health and fitness goals, a modern, large facility with loads of equipment, clean bathrooms and showers (all bathrooms/showers are solitary), and a motivating, like-minded fitness community to hold you accountable.

What’s your drop-in policy?

If you’ve got three months or more CrossFit experience, you’re welcome to drop-in to any class on the Schedule (CrossFit Group Classes, Endurance, and Power Hour).  The rate is $20.  This allows you to join any of our CrossFit classes plus the use of our Open Gym space (the “Annex”).  Our weekly drop-in rate is $45.

If you’re attending a class, please try to be 5-10 minutes early so you can fill out a waiver.  We have protein, FitAID, energy drinks, water, and other products for sale.
